Pumpkins become available at Bob’s Corn Maze on September 13. This farm has food, a country store, and lots of family-friendly activities.

Maris Farms - Buckley, WA
This farm is open daily. There are pumpkins for purchase, a corn maze for around $10/person, and Sunday hay rides. Family friendly, but no pets allowed.
Winney Farm - Bainbridge Island, WA

Rutledge Family Farm - Olympia, WA
Fall activities begin September 27 and run on weekends. Pumpkin patch entry is free. Areas of the farm with games and rides have paid entry.
Carleton Farms - Lake Stevens
This market has a free-entry pumpkin patch and a market with honey, preserves, and other goods. Entry to the corn maze is paid. Visit their website for details.
Gordon Skagit Farms - Mount Vernon, WA

This is the original haunted corn maze at Stocker Farms in Snohomish.
Stalker Farms at Stocker Farms | Snohomish, WA
This 21+ event uncovers spooky stories of the past and present. Tickets are $65 per person and include a costume contest.
Haunted Skies | The Museum of Flight
A spooky ghost tour that starts near Pike Place Market. Adult tickets start at $26.
Seattle Ghost Tour - Seattle Terrors

Where to see the most vibrant foliage around the region
Wright Park has beautiful foliage in October. There are guaranteed to be people taking fall photos there on a weekend, like me last year!
Wright Park - Tacoma, WA
This is an excellent hike to see the western larch trees in early fall. Parking lot reopens September 26.
Maple Pass Loop
This is one of the best city parks for fall foliage!
Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park - Renton, WA
This park jams several trails and a Japanese garden (ticketed entry for the garden) that are teeming with fall color.
Washington Park Arboretum
This is a difficult hike not for beginners, but has beautiful views of western larch trees when they turn.
Larch Lake — Washington Trails Association
Fall Events (Festivals, Food, Trips, etc.)
Come for the beautifully decorated lobby and waterfront view. Stay for the seasonal small plates and themed drinks. Make a reservation ahead of time. Lobby bar available 4pm-close.
Little Autumn Lobby Bar at The Edgewater - Through November 30, 2025
This unique event is $36 per person and runs weekends in October. A guide instructs you how to carve pumpkins surrounded by cats. This is for ages 8 and up.
Pumpkin Carving with Cats at Seattle Meowtropolitan
Reservations go quickly for this annual afternoon tea, so book now! Adults $58 and kids $28. This event runs weekdays from October 20-24 and 27-31.
