I start with dry lips and apply a liner, normally brown but use what ever works for you. Then I go in with a gloss.

For my lip combo if I’m feeling jazzy I’ll add just a hint of concealer after I apply my lip liner. I do this if I want a nude/ombré lip. And the I will add lip gloss on top.
