Astrology
Can't have just one! These are books that were either gifted to me or I bought them. They were all insightful.
Many takes on astrology are based on stars and positioning of the planets, etc. This book is earth based astrology. A native American philosophy on astrology. It was an informative read and I enjoyed learning about a different side.
The Medicine Wheel: Earth Astrology
This book dives into the zodiac signs of what it's like to work with, be a parent, be a boss, in a relationship with, be a friend of them. Quite informative!

I cried at almost every page of this book. The author did really well with vulnerability and facing hidden shadows under the surface.

Reminders about life. This book walks through a magnitude of aspects. From hope, healing, trust, growth, balance, self-acceptance, love, and resilience.

No fluff books. Down to the nitty-gritty.
The author has a tough-love approach. If you want to stop standing in your own way, I recommend this book.

Another book by the tough-love author.
Wise as Fu*k: Truths to Guide You (Unfu*k)
If you want to understand why you are the way you are and how to interrupt cycles, I recommend this book as a starting point.

Psychology Reads
This book dives into his relationships between the adult child and parent. It breaks down 4 different types of parents, stories of people with those types of parents, exercises and strategies.
Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents
Sometimes the conditioned mind can run rampant without us being aware of what it's doing. This book will help uncover what the little "dragons" in there are doing and take back control.

A counterintuitive approach to hope.

My therapist at the time had recommended reading this book in between sessions. It's an easy read, humor mixed in, along with personal stories. The author approaches from a holistic pov and maps the way for a healthier mind.
You Are Not a Rock: Guide to Better Mental Health
This was another book my therapist had recommended. It has exercises, journal prompts and activities. It explains what codependency is and how to manage it.
