items Our daughter and nieces and nephews are older now, 21 of course :) so it was fun to try and celebrate with them but we also know they'll be out testing the water with friends and later after the birthday, they'll slowly go out if they aren't already.... With these gifts, it wasn't only ‘fun props’ that I wanted to give but other items for them to be safe during these times, some for comfort and some for play. I know back in my day, there wasn't much talk about drink safety and what could happen and it probably wasn't at the face of the news like it is now. When I watch the news, it makes me more alert about things I need to watch out, so it's best to be safe with drink protectors, alarms or pepper spray if you encounter a situation or even after-party sickness or overall health needs. We've found comfort in all these items and hope it helps anyone with older kids, whom are still our babies <3

I do a few different gifts for the kids. One of fun, one of comfort, one to actually use long-term, one for gags and so forth to give variety. I don't like giving money or gift cards always, I will do it here and there, but I like to actually think about them and give them something they won't buy on their own. I find when kids have money, they'll just spend on others or random stuff, they don't buy things they need lol
