Pre-Star Wars…hell, Pre-American Graffiti…crazy great dystopian sci-fi.

The Granddaddy of all gangster epics. The music, the acting, set design cinematography….everything is aces.
Once Upon A Time In America - 4Kult (2 4K+BR)
Can't recommend enough. The most beautifully shot film ever.
Days of Heaven (Criterion Collection)
Five Easy Pieces and Easy Rider were my film school. Trippy, experimental, and formative to all youths and twenty somethings
America Lost and Found: The BBS Story
One of the best films ever made. Definitely a gateway to neo-realism and puts a spotlight on pre-WWII Italy modernity.
Bicycle Thieves (English Subtitled) | Prime
If you’re new to the Criterion Collection then this should be your first stop. A beautifully tender, heartbreaking film.
La strada (The Criterion Collection) [Blu-ray]
Like a feature-length Twilight Zone. Great 60s counterculture sci-fi!

Very underrated! Matt Dillon. Gus Van Sant. You’ll never want to throw a hat on the bed again.

One of the funniest movies ever. As relevant now as it was in Reagan’s America.
Lost in America (Criterion Collection) [Blu-ray]
My favorite Scorsese film. Hysterical and unflinching.
After Hours (The Criterion Collection) [Blu-ray]
IF there's a way to "wear" out your DVD, I would've done it by repeated viewings. This is a seminal masterpiece, specifically in the road trip sub-genre, coming of (middle) age genre, and in the comedy world itself. Can't recommend enough.
