I use an electric drill for nail prep and cuticle prep! It also helps to get any leftover nail glue off. They aren’t very expensive so it’s definitely worth getting

I love the brush glue, it helps to make sure you aren’t using too much and I don’t have much of an issue with it coming out the sides
