Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve
This historical park is filled with beautiful riverside nature trails with signs along the way to learn about this old community and the history of it! Also a great place for photography
Koreshan State Park
Such a kid friendly park! They also have a train ride through the park that kids adore!!
Lakes Regional Park
Although this beach was wiped out during hurricane Ian (2022), they have built it back with so many new features. Definitely an activity for any family member

This is the perfect size botanical garden- enough to entertain the kids without it being overwhelming. Their souvenir shop is also filled with such good gifts

AMAZING SUNSET VIEWS!! Literally one of the best spots in town to enjoy the day coming to and end- pack some snacks and drinks as there isn’t a lot of food options in the area (min. 15/20 min drive)
