Photo Opportunities
If you’re anything like me, half the reason you’re in Vegas is for the photos. These are the spots where you can actually get cute, high-quality pictures without trying too hard. I tried to include a mix of iconic “you have to” locations and some tha...
I genuinely think this is one of the prettiest places in Vegas. It changes seasonally, so it always feels new, and the lighting inside is super flattering for photos. Go earlier in the morning or late at night if you want fewer people in your shots.
Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens
I know it’s touristy, but I actually love starting my trip here, it just sets the tone. If you want a clean photo, go super early (like sunrise) or really late at night because the line gets long fast. Midday lighting is harsh, so I’d avoid that unle...
Welcome To Fabulous Las Vegas Sign
If you want that “rich, put together, elegant” aesthetic, this is the place. I love walking through here just for the florals and decor. It has a calm vibe, smells amazing, and feels way more elevated than most of the strip.
Explore Wynn Las Vegas
This is one of those places where every corner looks like a backdrop. The indoor canal area with the painted sky is my favorite go during the day for the full effect of the “fake daylight” ceiling.
Experience The Venetian Las Vegas
One of the coolest off-Strip photo spots. The contrast of bright colors against the desert is unreal. Go early morning or at sunset midday due to intense heat and lighting. Also plan to drive about 30min from the strip.
Seven Magic Mountains
You don’t have to go up the tower to enjoy it. The view from the ground looking up is honestly just as cute for photos, especially at night when it’s lit up.
Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck
Must See
These are the things I think you definitely should not skip, even if you’re only in Vegas for a short time. They’re popular for a reason, but they actually live up to the hype. If you only do a handful of things from this list, I’d start here.
I don’t care how many times I see this, I always stop. It’s one of the most iconic things on the strip. Go at night for the full effect, and try to catch a couple different songs, they change the vibe completely.
Fountains of Bellagio
A completely different energy from the strip! More chaotic, much louder, and honestly more fun at night. I like coming here later in the evening when the light shows and live music are in full swing.
Fremont Street Experience
I love walking through this hidden gem during the day or at night. There’s usually live music and people out and about. Stop into Its Sugar and browse a variety of fun candies.
The LINQ Promenade
Always a fun walk-through! Explore 3 levels of Hershey history and maybe even take home some memorabilia. Located right next to New York New York, this is a great pass time for an afternoon in Vegas!
Hershey's Chocolate World
Traveling Around
Vegas is way bigger than it looks, and walking in the heat can get exhausting fast. These are the spots and little tricks I use to move around the Strip while still making it part of the experience instead of just getting from point A to B.
I always grab a ride on the free tram from Mandalay to Excalibur. Walking in Vegas heat is no joke. It’s a small thing, but it makes getting around the south strip way easier. Makes a stop at Mandalay Bag, Luxor and Excalibur.

Off-Strip Attractions
If you start feeling overwhelmed by the strip, these are a few places I’d go to switch it up. It’s a different vibe. Sometimes more chill, sometimes a little more chaotic. But, it makes the trip feel more well-rounded.
This is a quieter, more local-feeling area. I like it when I want a break from the strip but still want something interesting to explore.
Chinatown Plaza
Where I go when I’m in need of a full reset from the noise and casino lights. The scenery is unreal and it reminds you to take a moment and connect with nature in the midst of a go-go-go environment.
Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area
Hidden Gems
Hidden places people don’t always talk about. Some are a little random, some are low-key, but they’re perfect when you want something different or just need a break from the typical Vegas energy.
One of Vegas’s coolest hidden gems! Entry is free, and it is fun to wander through rows of vintage arcade and pinball machines.
Pinball Hall of Fame
A peaceful little oasis in the middle of the Strip with flamingos, koi fish, turtles, and waterfalls.
Flamingo Wildlife Habitat
A quirky, free animatronic show inside Caesars Forum Shops that is surprisingly fun and very “old Vegas.”
The Fall of Atlantis at Caesars Palace
This shopping area is fun to walk through thanks to the themed ceilings and changing lights that make it feel like daytime and sunset indoors.
Miracle Mile Shops
A free nighttime show with lights, music, and giant visual effects that feels like a hidden secret.
Lake of Dreams Show at Wynn
It’s not a trip to the candy shop without checking out this secret Candy Bar. Just head upstairs at the It’s Sugar Candy store and find yourself immersed in a world of sugary drinks. Don’t forget to check out the iconic gummy bear chandelier. I tried...
