Miss Scarlet's Texas Homegrown is great Farmer's Market in the Bulverde area offering a variety of fruits, vegetables, eggs and other products. They are open most Saturday mornings, from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. Check them out if you're in the area!

This is a lovely park for walking and hiking. They also have a dog park area. Beautiful trails with some shade and great restroom facilities. It gets super busy on the weekends and parking can be a challenge at times.

They weren't on the main menu, but the sign by the counter caught my eye. I opted to leave off the chicken & pulled pork, but man-o-man, these were mouth-licking good. Freshly cooked – not frozen.
