This was the movie that made the fantasy world look real and vivid. Tim Curry is the best bad guy ever, and the costumes were incredible. Enjoy a very young Tom Cruise as the protagonist and Mia Sara as the damsel in distress. The soundtrack by Tangerine Dream is definitive for me (even though the European release has a great totally different vibe). This movie makes me believe in unicorns and I love how invested all the characters are in the fantasy world. Yes it is dated and overdone, but I remember vividly how it felt to young me.

I'm sorry, I love this candle. My girlfriend says it smells like dirt and it does!
