The whole reason I started this list — I slapped these on every box and the movers didn't ask me a single question about where things went. Not one.

My first move I used dollar store tape and a box literally fell apart going down the stairs. Never again — these held everything together even when I overpacked like a maniac.

Even with color labels, I still wanted to write specifics like FRAGILE or OPEN FIRST on certain boxes. Cheap markers died halfway through packing night — these didn't.

Broke a set of wine glasses during move number two because I wrapped them in newspaper like some kind of amateur. These kept everything intact through a bumpy 300-mile drive.

Tried to move everything in random Amazon boxes once and stacking them in the truck was like a terrible game of Tetris. Uniform sizes changed everything.

Scratched my dining table during the first move and the repair cost more than the table was worth. A few bucks in protection would have saved me three hundred dollars.

Halfway through unpacking I couldn't find my coffee maker and almost lost my mind. Now I inventory everything so I know exactly which box has what before I even open it.

First night in my new place I couldn't find toilet paper, a phone charger, or a single clean towel. Now I pack a survival box that goes in the car with me — never the truck.
