items August is that magical, bittersweet month where summer reaches its sun-drenched peak, but the crisp promise of autumn is quietly waiting in the wings. For my August Perfume Tray, I curated a lineup that completely captures this transitional energy. Think salty beach air, skin-like musks, sun-kissed florals, and clean, watery greens.
This is my ride or die. It has a permanent spot on my tray, no matter the season. Layers well, lasts forever, and leaves a beautiful scent trail. I get sooooo many compliments on this one.
Le Labo - Another 13
Hands-down the cleanest ocean scent I own. It’s literal salty sea breezes and fresh citrus.
GOLDFIELD & BANKS - Pacific Rock Moss
Genuinely the most gorgeous, cozy sandalwood fragrance ever. It's pure, creamy luxury. Sure to elicit compliments.
EX NIHILO - Santal Calling
An oldie, but a goodie. Crisp and clean. Impossible to overspray, even on the hottest days. Very refreshing.
MAC - Turquatic
Glitzy, ultra-feminine French Riviera vacation in a bottle. The lychee and peony combo is intoxicating, but the woody base keeps it from feeling like a sticky sweet teen perfume.
EX NIHILO Lust in Paradise Eau de Parfum (Women)
Been wearing this on repeat. Your skin, but better type of scent. Has sheer rose, soft musk, and a hint of vanilla. Very clean girl coded.

Been working through a decant of this and can't wait to upgrade to a full bottle. One of the best orange blossom and neroli fragrances I've ever smelled. Lasts a surprisingly long time for a freshie. Good projection too.

This one is new to my collection and I've really been enjoying it. The fig note is so juicy and green, but the black pepper gives it a tiny bit of spicy attitude. It’s earthy, sophisticated, and perfect for an al fresco dinner date.
HENRY ROSE - London 1983
I could use this as a base coat for literally anything on this tray, but it's great on it's own too!
JHAG - Not a Perfume
A Mediterranean summer distilled into glass. Juicy prickly pear, powdery iris, bergamot, and delicate jasmine. Fresh and clean. Only lasts a few hours, but it's beautiful enough that I don't mind having to reapply.
Diptyque - Ilio
My favorite from OUAI's lineup. Has citrus and rose notes with a base of white musk and amber. Smells like you just stepped out of a high-end salon after getting the best blowout of your life.
OUAI - Dean Street
A comforting, skin-hugging scent. It’s gourmand without being sickly sweet - smells like warm vanilla skin after a long day in the sun.
NOYZ - Only Human
Another constant on my tray. Stunning. Ethereal. It's crisp, green, and watery, but the vanilla dry down adds this dreamy, unexpected warmth.
Diptyque - Lilyphéa
The Vibe: Freshly dry-cleaned white linen in a bustling cityscape. Incredible longevity. I wear this when I have a busy day or want to feel confident and powerful.
Maison Francis Kurkdjian - 724
I'm clearly obsessed with fresh, aquatic scents. This one leans slightly masculine, but not overly so. My husband and I both love it. Strong projection!
