Where to stay to feel rested and rejuvenated

This is where I would recommend for accommodations for comfort and convenience.

This is the first resort built on Waikiki and I just loved it! You have access to the best part of Waikiki. Not only are you oceanfront, but this part of the beach has relatively lower foot traffic, has no rocks in the water and the sand is relativel...
Moana Surfrider

A hotel that you can't miss. Definitely a nice hotel and I love walking around and hanging out here, but I kind of prefer Moana Surfrider because I liked the part of Waikiki this was located in. This is a great spot if you're looking for a quiet plac...
The Royal Hawaiian

What to eat 😋

A few of my favorite places to eat and why, i.e. seafood, masubis, breakfast, cafes, and fusion Hawaiian food. I've got something for every budget.

This restaurant is conveniently located inside the Sheraton which is right next to the Moana Surfrider if you're staying there. I've been to Hawaii three times and have come here on all three occassions. They have a salad bar , which you can add onto...
Duke's Waikiki

Located inside the Moana surfrider. Tip: You need to make reservations in advance. I wanted to go but didn't know about this. From what I saw, the food looked super good and again it's beachfront! It's definitely more expensive but a great choice if ...

Grab and go food! I highly recommend you checking this out as they have so many different types of Musubi if you're into that! It's inexpensive, fast and great for on the go.
Musubi Cafe IYASUME

Great cafe! Island iced latte, acai bowls, papaya fruit bowls, breakfast, bagels. My friend who is a coffee lover loves it here! I'm not much of a coffee person but had a great time here. I really liked the Ube bagel--it's something different. I also...
Island Vintage Coffee Waikiki

Known for Lilikoi pancakes! It's a bit further away from that Waikiki strip but give it a try if you like pancakes. It tastes special here :)
Moke's bread and breakfast

If you are looking for fusion but still authentic Hawaiian food, check this out. I ate so many things that I had never tried before like Haupia, Lau Lau, as well as food I have had but were just prepared differently like Taro and Hawaiian Mac.
Highway Inn Kaka'ako

Fun stuff to do

Some activity recommendations depending on what you're into. These are my personal favorites for a bit of nature, exercise and culture.

Great option if you like hiking and nature. It's relatively easy but does take about an hour to do. Be careful as it can rain in the middle of the rainforest and can get muddy. I felt so rejuvenated after the hike though!
Mānoa Falls Trail

Swim, swim, swim! I love swimming here. Try to find a spot that's relatively calm. The water was nice at the beach in front of Moana Surfrider. Beautiful sunsets here too if you can stay for one :)
Waikiki Beach

I went to this Luau like 10 years ago. It's something different and cultural if you're looking for that. I enjoyed the hula dancing!
Paradise Cove Luau

I came here for the shopping mall and Foodland! Foodland is a local Hawaiian grocery store where you can get fresh poke, skewers, as well as souvenirs, fruits (papaya, watermelon, etc). It's kind of like whole foods but Hawaiian style. Tip! When you'...

This was actually 4 days, 4 nights but it recaps 3 full days. We arrived evening time so didn’t do much aside from dinner and checking in. These are the places I went to and recommend from my last trip. This is a great resource if you're looking for...
