When we lived in Annaville this was our favorite. FREE community pool, SHADED playground, endless sidewalk for walking and bike riding, beautiful trees and lots of places to picnic. Our favorite part is the duck pond. :)
West Guth Park
Our co-op did a field trip here! The staff is super friendly. A cute fenced playground, butterfly enclosure with native plants, orchid room, reptiles and birds! The big bloom event every spring to sell local plants is great.
South Texas Botanical Gardens & Nature Center
Best jetty to take kids to! Walking the jetty on the paved path makes it safe and easy for kiddos. We love to climb down the rocks and look at all the critters when the water is calm. When the kids get too hot we just go down the beach!

The downstairs is dog friendly! We love to take our three golden retrievers. The food is amazing. Also fun to just pull up in the boat and doc right up to the restaurant. Fried flounder is our favorite!
