Restrooms are available. No entrance fees. Mission Trail is in walking distance but is a lengthy walk in heels. Hot Wells is an old ruin that has been renovated as a historical location. The structure was originally pool and bath houses that were reported to have healing qualities from the mineral spring that fed the location. Later it became a resort and then a nightclub, before eventually falling into decay. This is a unique location with a lot of history.

Great potential here for photos by the water, with a good view of the sunset. The area is spread out, so there are no restrooms by the water, but there are restrooms in the park where a change of wardrobe could be done.

This area is not just for those with a hungry belly. Sitting beside the Guadalupe the location offers a variety of scenes and a number of locations close by that make for wonderful backdrops. This is one of those spots that can be busy depending on the time of year. A change of wardrobe might be possible in one of the restrooms in the area. The Powerplant Texas Grill
Rocky creek-bed presenting a natural and rustic setting. This park has parking and access to the Cibolo creek bed which makes for a unique and natural setting. You definitely want to bring some comfortable walking shoes to get to the photos spots.
FM 1518 Park - Slema
Ok, the golf course is abandoned and for sale, so it is far from lush like you would imagine a golf course. There is a great spot with water and an open view for sunset photos. I have updated the address that is closest to this spot. The golf course is right across Columbia Dr from the address listed. No place to change or use restrooms, but possibly a great spot for some fantastic photos.
Northcliffe Golf Club
A local Schertz park with a lot of potential including a small lake and nature area with large Oak trees. This park has a nice mix if architecture and nature for a variety of options.
