We Should Celebrate

Every year, I put out a snack cart for our delivery drivers to say thanks! The amount of packages we get delivered in December is honestly embarrassing lol, and I’m sure the drivers are being overworked this time of year. I have a doorbell camera and they always say thank you and are extremely appreciative of it. I feel like just a little snack and drink can help make the shift more bearable. I got a plastic rolling cart because I’m using the one I normally use for something else this year. I wanted the cheapest one, and that’s definitely what this one is lol. There are better quality ones but this works fine. I did a Target pickup for everything else and printed a sign from Etsy! Super easy to put together. I Ieave it out all of December and just grab individual refills as I go to the store or am at the gas station or something.

For one of my boy's classroom parties, we are going to paint stockings and have a milk and cookies station. I bought some painting canvases shaped like stockings at Michael's during their Christmas clearance sale last year. I couldn't find anything similar online, so I've linked other things you can paint. I ordered the mini paint strips and paint brushes to make a painting kit that I'll pre-fill with the paint colors. We're also going to have a milk & cookies station with mini cookies. I have little trifle bowls and scoops leftover from previous parties that I got at Dollar Tree, or you can grab some at Party City or Amazon. There are 20 kids in the class but I think the packs of 12 bags will be plenty since they will be scooping a variety of cookies. They don't need a full bag of each kind. I'm also going to grab some individual milks and red striped straws. If you have a small class, you may be able to buy little plastic milk containers! You can use whatever container you'd like for the cookies- cellophane bags would be the most cost-effective and they can tie them up after. I plan to paint a banner to go on the table! I think I may also get some paper activity placemats to keep them all busy while each group is going up to the cookie station. One of my favorite Christmas movies is The Grinch. I prefer the Jim Carrey version but my kids also like the newer animated one. I think it's fun to have a grinch day every year and make themed/green food and then watch the movie together at night. I also got some green and red tortilla chips from Walmart that I couldn't link. Check out my list below for other ways you can incorporate The Grinch into your festivities- like games, pjs, and fun food items!

Finding stocking stuffers for a spouse or other adult can be difficult! I've added some ideas below and I'll be adding more as I find them. You can always just add some of their favorite candy, drinks, or small gift cards.

Even though it may be frowned upon to give kitchen items as gifts, there are some I really enjoy and have asked for myself! Target and Walmart actually have a few different product lines with some great things in them. I really like everything I've gotten at Walmart from the Beautiful by Drew Barrymore line and the Pink Paris Hilton stuff is so cute! At Target, I like that Hearth and Hand paired with KitchenAid, so you know you're getting quality products. Either way, you can't go wrong with any of these options!
