You need some sort of bright light source. Doesn’t have to be a crazy expensive nail lamp. I like this one because it’s compact (foldable and store away) and less than $20

You want a decent cuticle kit. A pusher with some cuticle oil (sold separately) and some cuticle trimmers. Don’t be nervous! Practice makes perfect :)
