The Yucatán has so many cool Mayan ruins to check out, most have crowds so come prepared!
Gorgeous Mayan ruins right on the beach, Tulum is a great reward for a bit of a walk. Our guide was also very informative and taught us some Nahuatl words as a native Mayan!
Tulum
The most famous of all the ruins on the peninsula Chichen Itza. The pyramid is amazing and it is surrounded by a bunch of interesting ruins. Interesting to think what it might have looked like over 1000 years ago.
Chichén Itzá
A hidden gem into the jungle from Tulum. Coba is a much smaller Mayan pyramid than Chichen Itza but this one you can climb! The view above the jungle canopy is very cool!
