So you're a new burlesque performer who doesn't want to *look* like a new burlesque performer on stage...
Here are some burlesque costume essentials that won't break the bank. I own and have used all of them. They're each available in many colours. Please let me know if this list is helpful to you and I'll add more. :)

Get it in the colour of your choice and add rhinestones (using the kit recommended below!)
Women's Waist Training Underbust Corset
This is a great set available in a few colours. I have it in red and would definitely buy other colours. The stretchy straps make it easy to dance in!
Sexy Strappy Garter Lingerie 4-Piece Set
Can't hurt to have a few extra pairs! I have used the purple ones with no problem.
4Pair Nipple Pasties with Tassel Womens
Available in many colours. I have them in purple.
Elbow Gloves
These are shockingly comfortable and add the perfect amount of smarkle to your costume.
Women's Rhinestone Satin Latin Ballroom Dance Shoes
If you don't have a garter as part of your costume, these tights have one for you!
Rhinestone Fishnets with Cut Outs
Fear not, they stay up so well.
Thigh High Rhinestoned Stockings
You will love to play with this on stage, trust me.
Two Panel Skirt
Hair and Make up
Eyelash glue is the worst. Try these magnetic lashes and liners instead
Magnetic Eyelashes Kit 10 Pairs 3D Natural
Owning a clip in ponytail means you will never have to stress about not having enough time to do your hair AND everything else. Game changer. Very realistic and good quality for the the price.
20in Wave Ponytail Extensions Claw Clip
I SWEAR BY Cranberry Splash lip stain. Put it on once, it’ll last all night… And maybe even until the morning. No need to reapply, no fear of getting it all over your face or your lips or teeth. You need this.
Red Poppin’ Lips!
DIY
So easy to use. Adding rhinestones makes general clothing instantly into a costume!
Bedazzler Kit with Rhinestones
Rhinestones come in two categories. Hotfix (heat them up to stick to the fabric) and not. For those that are not hotfix, this glue is a game changer. I used normal E6000 for far too long, don't make the same mistakes I did!
E6000® Fabri-Fuse® Fabric Glue
Make your own pasties with Vinyl and foam
Adhesive Vinyl
I make pasties by sandwiching foam in the middle of two pieces of vinyl, then adding Toupee tape to stick it on to me.
Use Fabrifuse or other strong glue to secure them together, holding with a bobby pin and decorate with rhinestones.
