You will need a large cage. I actually have two in my house, one for each room because he likes to be in the same room I am in.

Parrot Toys keep them busy. In nature they'd be able to fly, make nests and stay busy, Just sitting in a house all day they need to keep busy with something to prevent them from getting bored and stressed.

Parrot pellets are a necessary part of a parrot's diet. My guy, Louie is very picky and it's hard to get him to eat them sometimes, but most parrots will! These are part of a healthy diet.

Parrots love fruit. I usually cut up fresh fruit for my parrot but he also loves this as a special treat. Especially any pieces of mango.

It's nice to have several perches on your parrot cage. Mine loves to sit on his different perches throughout the day and sleep on one particular one. It keep him busy moving around.

Your parrot of course will need a food and water bowl. I usually have a couple extra on hand that I can give him treats in, like cut up fruits and veggies.

I bought one of these because my parrot loves to sit outside with me. But sometimes if I'm cooking out or something I have to get up and down so I just put him on this perch. It's on wheels and can go inside and outside easily.

So why am I suggesting a silicone pet mat? I have found putting this underneath your bird cage saves your floor from bird poop and all the seeds and messiness.
Silicone is easiliy cleaned and movable which is nice. It's the one material my parrot does not try to chew up. He just leaves it alone. Plus is smooth and soft on his feet.

I use this mister to give Louie a bath. Some parrots will take baths in their little baths or in the sink but mine won't, so i just give him a mist here and there.
