Riverside Park has campgrounds and a pool. It also houses the swinging bridge. The first weekend in August every year it is the home to the County Fair.

This is close to a 2 hour drive from Neligh, however we were able to entertain 4 children 3 and under here for over an hour. Lots of spaces for imaginative play and to burn energy on a roadtrip

I love small town coffee!! Here they always have a brew of the day. The owner does a fantastic job and always has a smile on her face. They also offer delicious food. It is drive thru only but one of my absolute favorites!!

There are lots of tubing and tanking small businesses that will work with small-large parties. I had never heard of tanking until I moved to northeast NE. Enjoy a day on the water with family and friends without a boat!

Niobrara State Park has cabins and camper spots available. It’s close to surrounding small towns. Could easily stay there and boat on the MO river!
