What I have found interesting is often, shall we say, less-than-mainstream. High on my (rather eclectic) watchlist are thought-provoking documentaries that focus on nature or chronicle the origin stories of famous consumer brands β and some sitcoms and comedies that span quite a few decades.

If laughter is the best medicine, these then are my favorite prescriptions!

I am a big fan of just about any documentary that has Sir David for its narrator. He makes learning eloquent and entertaining, and does it with a sense of gravitas and humor β whether he's expounding on shrinking Arctic ice or why birds lay eggs, and in a largely unscripted manner β which is incredible, especially considering that he's about to circle the sun for the 100th time.
As a photographer and nature lover, I am impressed by the ability of today's technologies (and those who wield those tools) to evolve and continually push the boundaries of cinematography.
