Huge park with 2 play structures for little and big kids, basketball hoops, soccer field, covered picnic tables. Love this park because the playgrounds are surrounded by a border of bushes so it keeps it secluded and main access is 1 or 2 points.
Hillsborough Park
Our Sunday Staple! Cute booths, yummy food and activities + music. There’s also a couple playgrounds, walking/biking trails, basketball, baseball, skatepark and a library all in the same area!
Maidu Regional Park Farmers Market
Brand new castle themed playground! 2 separate big areas for small + big kids. Tire swings and regular swings. Perfect place to bring a picnic as there is plenty of shady grassy area

Huge playground(s) with lots of grass, tables, and a splash pad. Smaller separate playground for younger kiddos

Way more than a gift shop, although their shop is SO CUTE & eclectic! They have fun events that would be perfect for a girls day + a cafe, pumpkin patch & flower field & even drinks 😉 it’s a beautiful place to just wander around on a sun...

Mt. Rose Highway Scenic Overlook
Huge beach with public restrooms and a playground. Walking distance to grocery store, restaurants, shops. Central great location
Kings Beach
Such a FUN beach. Party beach on 4th of July, so gets packed. But I’ve seen and brought small kids and it’s still a blast for them. So many water toys to rent and enjoy + food/drinks avail at walk up window. *camping avail just across the street*
Zephyr Cove Beach
