Parks
Stop here before the zoo or nature museum opens at 10am. It’s a beautiful park with all organic material structures; no hot plastic slides here.
Sunshine Playscape | Lincoln Park Conservancy
Super fun park that has two playgrounds with a sandbox. A few blocks away is the Lincoln Park Library branch, so you can always stop there before or after if a potty break is needed.
Supera (Louis) Park - Chicago Park District
A lovely park with a tennis court and baseball fields attached!
Jonquil Park
Another little cute hidden gem
South Lakeview Playground Park
Perfect little afternoon oasis for your little ones with never ending energy. Also has a water feature that turns on in late June!
Weisman Park
HUGE park in the middle of Lincoln Park.
Oz Park
Sooo much fun wildlife to explore here. Apparently there’s a beaver family that lives here. I’ve seen tons of unique birds, turtles, fish, and more.
Lincoln Park - North Pond
Activities
They offer plenty of kids programming here for your artsy little ones!
Park West Ceramics
This is the Mecca for baby and toddler tunes. See: wiggleworms.

Perfect place for your toddler or big kid to start learning about culinary skills!
Oui Chef

Perfect for a rainy or cold day! There’s tons of fun to be had here (especially for toddlers) and the butterfly house is always a hit!
Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum
We love this library branch! It’s such a warm, inviting space and the employees love children and are super helpful. They have story times, play groups, and other children’s programming all year.
