I grew up and live in the Boston area. As a wine lover, I've spent years exploring all the wine bars I can drive to. These are my favorites that I keep going back to!
Map
Long-time favorite with creative small plates and hard-to-find bottles.
Spoke Wine Bar
Great spot in Bow Market to discover new wines. Staff is always super knowledgeable and you can bring in your own food. They also have wine nights and classes.
Rebel Rebel
Had my birthday here one year, and they organized a fantastic custom wine tasting with small bites. I've been meaning to go back for one of their regular tastings.
Lucille Wine Shop & Tasting Room
The best spot in Boston for Spanish wines. Plus, they have great charcuterie, cheeses, and tapas.
Barcelona Wine Bar
My favorite for a pre-theater dinner or post-show beverage. Right next to the Opera House.
Sip Wine Bar and Kitchen
My go-to local hangout with a wine bar, two breweries, and a speakeasy. The wine list rotates so there's always something new to try.
Common Craft
Cute spot that specializes in small producers and tinned fish.
haley.henry
Woman-owned with an adorable English Bulldog mascot. Love that they'll open almost any bottle from their collection if you order at least two glasses.
Georgie's Wine Bar (and Shop)
Love going to concerts here and actually being able to get good wine while watching the show!
City Winery Boston
This is where I go when I want to relive my trip to Greece. If you haven't had Greek wine, definitely try Assyrtiko. And the food is really authentic.
