The Bibles I use daily and the purpose they serve in my life.
My first Bible was a regular New International Version. This is my everyday Bible the one I write in, highlight, and fill with sticky notes.
NIV Bibles (New International Version)
I recommend getting a study bible to help you go deeper in God's word. When I am unsure of what a verse means, I use my study bible. A study bible includes historical background, maps, verse cross-references, character descriptions and more.
ESV Study Bible
In total, I have 3, one I like to highlight and annotate, one that helps me understand the word better and the last one is a pocket size that I can bring with me everywhere or leave in the car.
