2% is the standard for all lattes. For any size glass use ¾ cup. And the mermaids direction is to use espresso first, then syrup, then milk, then ice.

One option to use for vanilla lattes. Just remember the siren uses pumps. I would say pumps are equivalent to ¼ ounce per pump, so smaller glasses use about 2 pumps and larger about 4 pumps. or more for your hearts desire.

This is for a homemade vanilla syrup.

1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 vanilla bean( 1 ½ tbsp vanilla extract)

1.  Cut vanilla bean in half length wise. Or if using vanilla extract refer to step 3.
2. Add the sugar, vanilla bean, and water to a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to a simmer for 5 minutes.
3.  Once COOLED strain out the bean or if using extract add in the mixture.
