Manhattan
Brooklyn
Super cozy and festive vibes with a great overall ambiance; this spot is small but isn’t usually overcrowded, and has great drinks + bites for you and your favorite people
The Clonard
This place feels like a Christmas wonderland that also happens to have great cocktails AND great food! Also this is your vibe if you want to avoid Manhattan/ the more intense holiday bar scene but still get all the festivity and fun
Sleyenda (at Leyenda)
If you want Christmas that leans a little more naughty than nice, this spot is for you. Roberta’s is always *the* pizza spot, but Grinchy’s is Brooklyn’s slightly grungy but still very festive take on a holiday pop-up
Grinchy's (at Roberta's)
A hidden gem that will perfectly complement a night of walking through the *incredible* lights on display on the houses in Dyker Heights! It’s the perfect spot for a solid vintage Christmas pub vibe
Skinflints
Your Brooklyn version of the classic kitschy Miracle pop-up that feels slightly more spacious and low-key (just like Brooklyn) with all the same decor + seasonal /novelty drinks to enjoy while you’re there
Miracle on Union (at Thief)
Manhattan
No surprise here since The Dead Rabbit is a New York *institution* in the land of cocktail bars! If you’re looking for maximalist holiday decor that still feels classy, A+ cocktails and an elevated pub vibe, this is your spot
Jingle Jangle (at The Dead Rabbit)
This is your classic kitschy Christmas locale that has every inch covered in either ribbon, grift wrap, lights, or garland. If you want to feel like you’re drinking inside of Santa’s gift bag, this is your place! Plus they have really fun seasonal/no...
Miracle on 9th St. (at Cabinet)
Lille’s at holiday time is a never ending maze of lights, baubles, wreaths and poinsettias with some victorian touches sprinkled in. It feels like eating + drinking in a snow globe in the best way
Lillie's Victorian Establishment
If thoughtfully curated vintage ski lodge vibes sound fun to you, head here immediately! The food + drinks are reliably great, and this spot is extra cozy for the holidays
Camp Porchlight (at Porchlight)
If you understandably don’t want to wait in line for Rolf’s or feel like a sardine while you’re enjoying your drink, Paddy’s is a great (and nearby) alternative! They have a totally festive pub atmosphere that’s a bit more dive-y if that’s your speed
Paddy Maguire's Ale House
If you want to see more decorations in one place than you ever have in your life, go here! It also feels a little like hanging out inside a holiday toy store that is ALL the way decked out, and has the bonus of being close to the city’s best holiday ...
