Motion censor lights are great for when you are getting into the shelter. These hold charge for SO long and are completely wireless. You can use the adhesive tape included or glue magnets on the back to make them completely removable. User preference...

Magnetic shelves save so much space in a tornado shelter. They may not be advertised for this exact use, but trust me, it works!
I keep snacks in ours so that the kids can just grab what they want if we are down there for a warning that last a little longer than usual. These magnets are VERY strong.

I use magnets to modify everything! Anything you would usually use tacks for hanging…ladies I'm looking at you… Can be turned into a magnetic-mounted version with these magnets and double sided tape or glue.
These are EXTREMELY strong so be careful pulling them apart. They work SO good though, I highly recommend.
