There are several sizes of T-square and I recommend you to buy the longest one because there's a lot of drawings using large papers.

Can't paint without paper right? Painting using normal bond paper is not recommended. It should be a specialized paper where it cannot easily rip it. There are different gsm (or thickness) of a paper. And I highly recommend to use 200 gsm!

Aside from watercolors, we also used alcohol markers. This is usually works on quick drawings that needed to be rendered. So it's really a great help when you have no time!

In architecture school, we don't normally used normal pencils. We use a Mechanical Pencil for precision and consistency while drafting! There are different sizes of leads. The thinner the better!
