Things to do
Our favorite things to do with kids and pets!
Totally worth the drive to check out this natural monument. Loved learning about the history and the movies they show do a great job describing and making it kid understandable!
They have a pet Ramada for your 4 legged friends who are also traveling...
Meteor Crater Natural Landmark
Great place to learn to ski or snowboard and try your skills on easy all the way to black diamond hills. You can rent a board or skis on site with ticket purchase.
Arizona Snowbowl
This is a must when visiting the area and on to the Grand Canyon. Make sure to get there early in the day to see the wildlife.
Bearizona Wildlife Park
So worth the trip to look at this wonder of the world any time of year, but especially in the summer to escape the heat of Phoenix.
Grand Canyon National Park
Super cool community to stop and learn how to use pottery and the elements to build homes and live in the Southwest.
Arcosanti
Must visit for your summer and fall Flagstaff trips! It’s about 40 minutes north of Sedona, so you could also make the trip up easily. We love all the decorations and pumpkins!
Viola's Flower Garden
Must Eats
Spots you absolutely shouldn’t miss when you visit Flagstaff!
We didn’t get to eat here because it was so so busy, but everything looked good and it was a dog friendly place.
Diablo Burger
Got right in on the patio downtown and they brought dog water bowls and amazing chips and salsa
Alejandro’s Mexican Food
Wanted to try the best Chinese in Flag and it didn’t disappoint! Even is pet friendly which was a big deal to us since we were traveling with our dogs!
Tang Taste
Great for big groups and pretty good Mexican food for the area. Outside of the main area of Sedona but still good.
Javelina Cantina
Pet friendly on the back patio and close to the EV chargers. Great pizza!
Rotten Johnny's Wood-Fired Pizza Pie
Places to Stay
Great spots to stay whether you are a solo or group traveler.
Stayed here for one night and it was so cute! They did a good job remodeling and making it great for the passing through traveler as well as the visitor for the ski resort and cooler weather.
High Country Motor Lodge
Super cute and dog friendly hotel that has been completely remodeled with EV charging. On Route 66 close to a lot of food and shopping.
