We went here on a whim (after we had gone to the Tillamook Cheese Factory) and we enjoyed it so much. It's hard to describe but the charm about this place was that it wasn't flashy but it really took you back to the time in history that this was act...

Great smaller aquarium to visit in Newport OR. Plenty to see, and a great gift shop for the littles.

This is an amazing factory visit (and I've seen quite a few). You get to see the cheese and ice cream production, some taste testing and a great gift shop. A fun trip with the family.

What a great place to have a tasting flight. They also serve up nice charcuterie boards to munch on while you taste. I found the prices to take home wine very reasonable. The 2022 Harmony and the 2020 Tranquility were my favorites.

This is a great place to try wines from the Willamette Valley with a vast grove of hazelnut trees and a property that you can venture around on. A nice Pinot Noir was my favorite wine there. I believe it was the 2021.

So if you've never had vermouth (I hadn't) this would be the right place to experience it. A nice tasting room and knowledgeable staff. The Ember vermouth and the Finn Vermouth were my favorites.

A short hike to this fall. Plenty of tables to sit and have lunch at. Dog friendly and you also can hike down to a place to wade in towards the bottom. Nice drive and not far from a diner in Alsea.

A great easy to get to beach area for those who don't want to trek down a bunch of rock or stairs. Very dog friendly and a campground onsite.
