this gel is a very close 2nd to not your mothers gel! it has a slight bit less of a hold but works really well.
Strong Hold Gel by Rizos Curls
I like to use this mousse more as a sealer rather than applying it to every section, and it works really well as a touch-up product too!

I mostly use this hair oil on day-two hair because I feel like it breaks my cast really nicely and adds some softness back into my curls. Since it’s on the pricier side, I also don’t like to use it all the time!
OLAPLEX Nº.7 Bonding Oil
This is a serum I use pretty much every day to fluff out my hair and add some extra softness to my curls. It’s also on the cheaper side, and it reminds me a little bit of the Verb hair oil!

I like to use this more as a touch-up product rather than spraying it all over my hair as a regular leave-in. It’s a little more expensive, but definitely worth it! It’s especially good for refreshing my curls around day 3–5 hair!
