A decent stethoscope is needed to be able to hear and identify breath sounds and take a manual blood pressure. This is a great high-quality one, and I used after graduation as well.
3M Littmann Classic III Monitoring Stethoscope
Many nursing programs won't allow smartwatches, and a manual watch is needed to time pulse rate and breaths per minute. This basic one with an easy-to-clean sports band is perfect.

I haven't used this as much as Goodnotes, but it's free and seems very similar. Great for notes, adding screenshots, etc, plus you can collaborate with classmates.
