I have been passionate about non toxic products ever since I had a miscarriage 10 years ago. All of my recommendations are rated by EWG low to moderate, nothing will be recommended here that is high hazard by their standards.

Everything I recommend is OMRI Certified - Nonprofit organization that regulates & tests soil for pesticides, herbicides & other harmful substances.

I’ve been eating organic since my mid 20’s when I became aware of the differences. Now the goal is budget friendly organic items! I believe everyone should be able to afford eating healthy, so it’s always exciting to find organic foods that are low priced!

I didn’t even realize until I had my child & started researching that not all car seats have the same safety ratings & features. For example, the Britax has anti-rebound bars- in Europe, this is a common safety standard & it makes perfect sense- it stops the car seat from moving too fast on impact & saves the child from severe neck injuries! Other items on my list such as the bike helmets- these have a special feature called MIPS (it’s extra framework & padding) that greatly reduces the chance of concussions & head injuries. Everything on my list has the best safety ratings you can find.

I have spent weeks at a time deep diving into finding brands that are transparent & show actual paper work from third party testing. As a mom, this is really important to me. These are the items that passed my strict criteria :)

I was so thrilled to find these non toxic, less expensive furniture items for my family. It took a lot of research and a long time to find these high quality items that we could afford, but I’m so thankful I did!
