Stubb's Bar-B-Q
Great shows, but not my favorite venue, if I'm being honest (and old). Shows start a little later, and the space feels big (not in a good way).
Emo's Austin
Get there a little early for a good spot. This place is small, and tight.
Saxon Pub
TBH, I've never seen a show here. Been inside (and in the outdoor part, and think it'd be great).

The outdoor part has a unique vibe. Small venue. Even smaller inside.
Cheer Up Charlies
Kinda weird setup, but it's cool 😎

Dive-y, but great jazz spot. Tiny.

The smaller, downstairs venue. Seen a couple good shows here. It's notice and new(ish)
