Not only aesthetically pleasing, but great food too!

Craving ramen? Go to Takumi. It’s quick and so good. I recommend the location of Takumi at Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal, it’s never overly crowded + more spacious.

MUST Mexican restaurant: Try the tortas they’re amazing and it’s near Leidseplein so you can go into the center before/after
Tacos & Tequila | Amsterdam
Most popular steak house of the Netherlands (it’s everywhere!) Try the Bali Steak!
Loetje
Honestly, I go here mainly for the tagliatelle pasta (it’s very good especially if you don’t prefer el dante) but definitely take a seat if you wanna enjoy the busiest part of the city! They have nice booths outside with a heated terrace.
Majestic
It’s a new sushi place in NDSM, definitely worth the hype!!

This sushi place near De Pijp is SO GOOD. It’s a bit more on the expensive side, but 100% worth it. Try their cocktails, they make em smoky! 🔥 A great idea if you want to impress someone or take a date.
bluedragon amsterdam
Try their tenderloin (bife lomo) steak!! 🥩 I recommend making a reservation for this place. The staff is really nice. This bit can be a little crowded tho, so keep that in mind.
Salmuera Amsterdam
Terrace 🌞
Great option with lots of space for indoor lunch, OR outside with water view on Rokin if you’re lucky!
Café de Jaren
By far the best-kept secret cozy coffee cafe of Amsterdam, in the middle of the city. Coffees, matchas & cakes and 1000/10 latte art!
Also, can be a great date spot. If the weather is shitty, you can also go up the attic with a cute view.
De Koffieschenkerij
Avoid the busy city centre and visit this cozy place for lunch/dinner or drinks. Watch boats sail by on the canals
Hannekes Boom
Try Dutch fried snacks!!! It’s the most lively terrace of the area (NDSM)!
