GAWSH I lvoe this game. I own the original Dorf Romantik, but the Sakura Version is very similar, but more beautiful with the Asian Cherry blossom theme. You and your partner are playing together to score the most points. You take turns drawing and placing tiles, matching terrains and building different areas. This one's a classic! I've played thousands of games of Backgammon with my dad, my bestie and my ex-husband. (We still like each other :) Very simple to learn, and hard to master, you just roll dice and move your pawns. You can knock each other out if you have an opponents single pawn in your path, so make sure to at least double them up for protection. 7 Wonders Duel
I have such amazing memories of crib with my ex-husband. I remember, one night in winter we lost power to the house. We spent hours playing Crib by candlelight. Crib is a little too math-y for me to fully enjoy, but I always slid my cards over to him to count my points for me. The gameplay is actually quite simple and all you need is a deck of cards and the board with pegs. With your hand of 4 cards each, you take turns playing cards trying to chain a run of numbers, or numbers that add to 15 or 31. The game calls for an ability to see patterns in the numbers, and you get better at it as you practice. But as long as you can do basic addition, you can play and enjoy this game! #affiliate

This game is just simple stupid fun!! You will be laughing, I promise! You divide the cards up and start playing them in the middle of the table. Take turns and say ‘taco’ and lay down the first card. They say ‘cat’ and lay down a card… and so on. If the word and the card happen to match, grab the pile first! There are other little rules about some of the unique cards, but this is the gist. My son and I sometimes play this to settle a minor disagreement. Winner gets their way. I think that this would work wonders to increase the fun and play in a romantic relationship as well! #affiliate
