The inspiration behind creating this list, well, was to find something for myself. My son (11yo) and I make the family some handmade ornament every Christmas. I'm tired of our ornaments looking ‘sketchy,’ so I wanted to buy a DIY kit from an actual designer. This is the one I chose! I love Macrame, and I think we will have a blast making these together. I'm an avid cross-stitcher, and these are the kind of ornament gifts I give my family every year. I usually stitch on cotton aida fabric and build the ornament (with stuffing too!). This style seems like a much easier way to do. These patterns look much more beginner friendly and quick to stitch.
