Make a Weekend Out of 15 Jazz Shows
Enjoy the wonderful tunes of Jazz at Forsyth Park and Plant Riverside (Downtown River Street)
One of the biggest times of the year in September! Perfect for date night or a meet-up with friends and families if you have an appreciation for Jazz music.
Official Savannah Jazz Website
The official website for Forsyth Park. I would normally stop by on the weekend for their fresh produce at the farmer's market.

Eat and Be Merry!
Came empty handed? No worries. Here are a few vendors who attended last year’s (2025) event. Enjoy selections from tasty food trucks, desserts, and drinks!
Love their garlic parm wings and funnel cakes. You can almost guarantee the will attend the festival every year!

Ice cream Stand-Found them on the left side of the field last year. I believe two stand were posted to accommodate the entire field. Shop on Broughton Street
Leopold's Ice Cream Stand
I remember passing by this truck with a decent line. This was a new addition to me. Known for specializing in hand-crafted Meat Pies, Pasties & Desserts. If you enjoy British food-I'd recommend trying them out!
Pie Society Food Truck
You'll usually find them at the top of the food truck line. Look out for the yellow truck with the Jamaican flags and the smell of Jerk chicken.

If I had to bring the bare minimum for full comfort
If I were traveling to Savannah and discovered the Jazz festival happening the weekend I’d arrive, I recommend these minimal yet comfortable items to make the most out the experience-most ideal for traveling on the road.
Keeping it simple, but also a tad bit of extra convenience with the extra side pocket and insulated cooler for keeping your beverage cool-I enjoy this feature most.
Basics Camping Chair
I bring this beach mat every year. It’s 57x 31.5 in, easy to manage, and I could throw it in the back of my trunk for any outdoor occasion. The best part is that it’s waterproof and affordable.
Suokom Waterproof Oxford Camping Picnic Blanket
Similar to a blackjack this compact cushion is great for floor seating if you prefer to not have a chair
Adjustable 6 Positions Folding Floor Chair
If you’re planning on staying awhile you’ll definitely need a folding chair.
DSG Oversized Folding Chair
Another option when you want your blanket to be cute with frilly ends and create the best vibes.
