Many dog show venues have slippery floors and some dogs handle this better than others. After convincing your dog that the floor is indeed not lava, spray this on their pads and gently encourage them to try again.

Show Clothes
Finding the right outfit that looks great on you and flatters your dog can be a challenge. Thrift stores are one great place to shop for clothes and here are a few additional ideas for you.

Leads and Collars
We keep it basic for our leads and skip the bling. These are what we use for our Silkens, Borzoi and Irish Wolfhounds.
Our go to lead for all our show dogs and comes in a variety of colors. We are not big fans of the fancy custom show leads.

Shampoo, Conditioner and Coat Care
Show dog or just a dirty dog, here's what we use to clean up our pack.
Recommended to us by our Borzoi breeder and it definitely works well for making coats shiny and keeping the mats away.
A top-of-the-line shampoo for course haired breeds like our Irish Wolfhounds. Anything by Chris Christensen is worthy of your wallet!
We love this nozzle for bathing all of our dogs as well as cleaning dog kennels. Adjustable and it's easy to add shampoo or other cleaning products when needed.
Recommended to us for our Silken Windhounds and Borzoi to condition and thicken their coats.
Grooming
This nail grinder is wonderful and that's an understatement!! Cordless and very quiet, which is a big deal for many dogs. Grinds well on 2 different speeds AND - it has a light so you can see what you are doing!! 🤩
