I have a 7 year old daughter and I’m always looking for ways to get her and my teens off the PlayStation, tablets, etc. Besides their time limits I like to find fun stuff for them (especially my 7yr old) to do and these are all the things that she loves to do/play with along with things we love to do as a family for family game night. Hopefully these can help you get your little ones off the screens more and happily occupied as well! There’s been days she hasn’t even asked to play on the PlayStation/tablet now because she loves playing with these products so much. Especially all her crafting stuff. (She’s a lot like her mom lol).

We have 4 pets. A new kitten (Stella), a dog (Luna) and 2 guinea pigs (Pancake & Honey). I’ve had tons of pets over the years and my house is always a zoo especially with all the kids lol. These are all the products that I use for my plants/garden and would most definitely recommend, especially if you’re just getting started on your plant/garden journey! I only use organic, pet/kid safe products in my garden and indoor plants and I’ve tried finding the most affordable, eco friendly/sustainable products I could so that I wouldn’t have to keep re-buying things year after year. I believe everyone should try gardening! Especially now with the rising cost of food and the quality of food getting worse and worse. Even if all you can do is just a small garden on your porch. There’s tons of options if you’d like to have a garden! 🥰 Growing up my dad taught me a lot about plants/gardening while he took care of his and once I became an adult I was SO excited to start having plants of my own. That feels like forever ago now lol. I finally felt more confident about my skills as a plant mom and like I said, with the rising cost of food, I felt like it was time to finally give gardening a try. So, my husband got me a raised garden bed, seeds & some seed starting trays with grow lights and I grew those seeds to little plant babies, planted them in the garden and every single day I was out there. Even in the rain I went out to check on them lol (I have some videos on my TikTok account under the same name @hollietusin or the link is in my bio!) and I had my first pretty successful garden last year, I was kinda proud of myself! it produced way more than I was expecting, I learned quite a lot and I’m really excited to have an even bigger garden this year! 💖

I’ve been doing yoga since I was about 16 years old (I’m 41 now). I am currently still enrolled to be a yoga teacher at Yoga Renew for their YTT200 classes. I took some time off to get my daughter ready to start school and I’ve been thinking about getting back to studying (I never stopped practicing tho) and finish my certification. Recently I’ve gotten really into doing Pilates as well. These are all the yoga/pilates and fitness products/books I’ve been using (some for years now) and I truly love and recommend. All of them are good quality products that are made to last.

I’ve always been obsessed with the boho/hippy style and recently I came across this brand called “Bohemela” along with a few other brands on SHEIN and ever since I can’t get enough of their clothes! Throughout my entire health journey (since I was 15 with POTS) I’ve felt like I’ve had to be my own nurse/dr at times and find ways to combat some of my symptoms on my own and I know everyone’s body is different but these are some of the things that have been really helpful for me. I truly hope if you’re also experiencing any of the issues I’m dealing with that these work for you too! I have multiple health issues including POTS, low iron and hyper mobility (possible HEDS). To top everything off now I’m dealing with perimenopause symptoms too, which feels like it ramped up some my other health symptoms and since I can’t get on HRT due to fluid around my heart, (from taking birth control in the past) I’ve been looking for more natural ways to deal with my symptoms. I’ve been doing resin art for over 6 years now and it’s one of my favorite crafty things to do. I’m very much into crafting and creating new things but sometimes I just want something to get my mind off things and do something that’s relaxing and doesn’t require much brain power in that moment lol and that’s where diamond art comes in for me. It’s very relaxing for me and I use it as a way to get my mind off things especially when I’m feeling kind of down. It’s been fun to gift them to loved ones as well. I know just how frustrating getting breakouts/pimples can be. These are all the acne products I’ve used to keep my skin clear and from breaking out. I’m always on the lookout for acne products that actually work for my teen daughters and I. At 41 I’m struggling more with acne now than I did as a teen, while all of us are also dealing with super sensitive skin. I’m obsessed with skin care especially now that I’m in my 40’s. Here’s a collection of skincare & beauty products I can't live without and are affordable. Things that have ACTUALLY made a difference for my skin/body that I truly recommend. I especially love Korean skincare and skincare with clean ingredients. Having good skin shouldn’t have to cost an arm and a leg so I try to find good quality products that aren’t expensive. Most if not all of the products I use/recommend score very high for safe/clean ingredients in the “OnSkin” and “Yuka” apps and that’s very important to me! :)
