Located in the western foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains is Gold Country, the area of CA that became famous after gold was discovered here in 1848, thus sparking the California Gold Rush of 1849. There are lots of adventures to be had here from historic towns, to gold panning, river rafting, hiking, camping, museums and even ghost hunting.

My fur babies are very important to me including my miniature poodle. (You can get a glimpse of her in my profile.)
