And most of them have been made into movies and or tv shows that I always have to at least check out. Most of them I have watched all the way through and there are a few more coming soon!

This is one of the latest books in Patterson's Women's Murder Club Series. I love this series of books and everytime a new one comes out I have to know what is happening with the main characters.

This is a new series by Patterson. I have not read it yet but it is on my TBR
2 Sisters Detective Agency
The latest addition to his Micheal Bennet series. Bennet is also a cop but his claim to fame is all the kids he has taken into his home. I am a few books behind on this series but now I am ready to start catching up!

I love when a book or series of books I have read get turned into a movie or made for tv series. Some are hits and some are misses but I will always give them a watch
I did not read the entire series of these books but I read quite a few of them and this series which is the original series is so good. I have actually watched it a few times.
Bosch - Season 1
A spin off of the original Bosch series and it did not disappoint. I still like the original series better but I was sad to learn this one was ending after only three seasons.
Bosch: Legacy Season 1
While this movie has been around for a while it is still a good one. I love Matthew's take on the main character Mickey Haller. Definitely worth the watch
The Lincoln Lawyer
This is one movie and book that just ripped through me. I read the book first and then saw the movie. Both are heart stopping.
A Time to Kill
This was a book series, then a movie and now it is a series. I love the series. I have watched all three seasons so far and am hoping there will be more coming soon
The Lincoln Lawyer Season 1
The movie starred Tom Cruise but I have to admit I liked the book so much better. Definitely worth watching though full of suspense and drama

I did not watch this series and actually until I started making this list didn't know it existed. I might see if I can go back and watch. I am intrigued.

Prime put this series out following detective cross and mashing up the series of books. So far I have enjoyed it and am ready for more

I had forgotten all about this movie until I started watching the previews. Full of great actors including Susan Sarandon and Tommy Lee Jones.

Starring Julia Roberts and Denzel Washington what more do you need to know. It is an older movie but I just went back and rewatched it as I was creating this recommendation list.

A little different from the rest of my list. This movie is one of my favorites and I loved the book as well.

One of the first authors I really got into when I was younger. His books have withstood the test of time. If you haven't read his stuff you should. His books cover so many areas of the law and dive in from all sides.

another book that takes me back in time. I had to speed read this one so I could go see the movie on opening night.
The Firm - by John Grisham (Paperback)
I personally prefer Grisham's earlier books. I loved the client and read the book in a couple of days.

Another throw back novel but such a good book. Full of intrigue and suspense. I loved this book

I call the books by Michael Connelly that I have read the Bosch Family. I love these books. I did not find them until later in the series and I did not go back to the beginning but I have read quite a few of them and keep up with the more current ones as they come out. These books are great ones to listen to if you prefer audio books.

This one is part of the Lincoln Lawyer/Mickey Haller series. Mickey is the half brother of Harry Bosch. There are a couple of cross over books too.
Resurrection Walk
The Burning Room is a part of the Harry Bosch series of books. I have not read all of the books in the series but I did read this one. It was gripping and full of twists and turns. I love a good mystery

This is the book that kicked off the Harry Bosch series. I did go back and read this one. The nice thing is that even though these books are part of series it was easy to go back and read prior books. I just got more background on the characters.
The Black Echo: Harry Bosch Series, Book 1
The first stand alone book in the Lincoln Lawyer series. I did listen to this one before I started watching the tv series because I wanted to know more about the main character. Great book
