This is the best place for a quick run (2.4 miles around the loop, give or take). The path is nice and wide, and on any given day you will see plenty of people out and about. Close parking and good food and stores if you want to multitask!

Great hike for kids and adults. There are often dogs on the trail, but people tend to keep them leashed. There is a good uphill hike as you start, then it is all downhill after that!

Good for a “beach day”. Be careful to shower after swimming there and do not drink the water! They stock it with fish, and that is another fun activity. There are places to camp, places to walk, run, and bike.

Great steak. The new location at Snake River Landing is fantastic. Always busy, parking is tight, but doable.
Stockman's Restaurant
This is the second location, but the first closed when the owner passed away. Still good, but I do miss the original.
Happy Chinese Restaurant
The food is amazing! But, do not go with freshly washed hair unless you want to wash it again. The smell of that amazing food will be with you until the next shower.

Family owned, always wonderful. The cinnamon rolls are incredible. The chick noodles over mashed potatoes make my day. This is a place you will remember for years.

There are wonderful national or even international exhibits here. The basement of the museum is dedicated to local history; when Idaho Falls was known as Eagle Rock.

The Chukkars are so fun to watch every summer. Enjoy a great game of baseball. Park farther away to avoid a foul ball hitting your car.
Melaleuca Field
Clean zoo with many great photo spots. Quite a bit of shade. The otters are a favorite!
