I've tried SO many face products in the last 3 decades. The ones for oily skin leave me with dry patches and the ones for dry skin make me break out! Here are the products I've found after arduous trials and errors that actually work for people with combination skin. Not too hydrating, not too drying. I call them my Goldilocks products because theyre JUST RIGHT! 😅😅😅 First remove the oils, then do a face mask, next apply serums, use under eye creams, then moisturize the entire face!

These products are great for when you want to accentuate your own natural beauty. I didn't include any foundation because let's be honest I don't wear any lol I don't contour or anything like that. It honestly makes my skin break out which only makes me need to wear makeup more. Most days I don't use makeup. But sometimes I just want to feel a little extra confident or professional at work so here are my main make up products I use for those days.

As my child enters 6th grade, his reading test scores indicate a 12th grade/college ready reading level (~1300 lexile score). It's been a bit of a challenge at times finding novels that will entertain him without being inappropriate for his age. So here's my on going list of great books and series for preteens with a gift for reading!

My son is level one on the autism spectrum and can struggle a lot with sensory overload or needs. He is both a seeker and avoider depending on which sense. He likes movement and bodily pressure yet gets easily overwhelmed by sounds. If you have a child similar to mine, here's a list of great items we have used successfully. Growing up, my house felt like a museum. I couldn't make anything out of place and I wasn't welcome to relax in any of it but my own bedroom. Becoming a parent, I have set the tone for our home entirely different. We welcome comfy living in every room, but especially the living room where we spend the most time lounging, talking, and eating! Here's my guide to help you turn your living room into a maximum chill spot that feels inviting.

Times are tough right now. If you're a SNAP recipient like me, you might be going crazy wondering how you're going to eat. First off, don't panic, it burns too much energy and you're gonna need that for cooking LOL Also don't forget your sense of humor when the world is absurd and cruel. If you have the storage space and club membership, Sam's Club is great for bulk items like dry goods. Aldi is where I suggest for fresh fruits and vegetables since they're the cheapest I've found so far. I'm separating this list into food categories. If anyone needs some recipes, let me know and I can make some new lists. I hope everyone struggling with food insecurity right now knows you're not alone. Don't be ashamed if you need to go to a food pantry either, we all need support sometimes. If you text your zip code to (785)503-3310 you will be sent a list of foodbanks near you. Best of luck, everyone! You matter and you deserve to eat, always

I have two cats in my home. My little girl, Juni, is only a year old. We got her at 6 months old. My big boy Skye is 11 years old. So they have quite a big difference in age. Of course, cats a finicky so apologies in advance if your cat doesn't like any of my recommendations lol. Please know that all Amazon links are affiliate links where I earn a commission.

As a dog sitter, I deal with a lot of dog anxiety. Sometimes it's their personality, but usually it's temporary just because their owner is away. Separation anxiety in a dog can even contribute to your own anxiety. Here are some of the things I've found to help out with canine anxiety, whether fleeting or on going. Remember that every dog is different and often a multi-faceted approach is the most successful and comprehensive. Always consult a veterinarian before administering any kind of medication or trying new foods and treats. *Amazon links are affiliate links*
