Here are some great clothing options that will hold up great in the snow. I'm including recommendations for preteens and parents.
These are technically men's but my son wears adult sized shoes now. I would also wear these. The faux fur lining is SO soft and warm!!!

These help keep your kids face and head warm. We lose most of our heart through the top of our head.
Kids Balaclavas
A faux fur lined hood helps keep cold winds out! A good coat makes all the difference when playing in the snow.

Carhardt beanies are simply the best. Soft yet thick and so durable. A must have for winter in general.

These high socks are great for boots, ankle socks tend to slide off your foot when wearing boots. Columbia makes sturdy and warm socks for playing in the snow.
Women's Socks - Hiking & Trail Socks
This thermal kids set will help keep them warm when used as a base layer. Then we put joggers and a t shirt and hoodie on over those!
If you have snow that will pack well these are amazing! You can use it for snow or sand for year round use!

These plastic sleds are great for kids to fly down hills in the snow. Also they're cheap so if it breaks no big deal. I prefer these light weight plastic sleds over heavy wood or metal ones which can fall on top of children and trap or injure them.
