Bakers I Keep Coming Back To
I’m usually the person who wants chocolate in pretty much everything I bake, so yes, there’s going to be a bit of a chocolate theme here. I’m also a huge coconut fan, and I’ll always stop for a recipe that involves coconut, coffee or mint. I’m a lazy baker too, so the easier the recipe and the less mess I have to clean up afterwards, the happier I am. These are bakers and recipe sites I genuinely enjoy following and coming back to, whether I’m actually looking for something to bake or just happily scrolling through all the gorgeous photos. You can follow them on Instagram for the inspiration and, honestly, I love looking at the photos there too, or head to their websites for the actual recipes, more photos and all the step-by-step instructions. One thing I always recommend if you bake is getting a kitchen scale. I weigh everything in grams rather than relying on cups, and if a recipe only gives measurements in cups, I’ll usually look up the weight and work from grams instead. It makes such a difference. I use Callebaut Recipe 811 for a lot of my baking because I absolutely love it. It’s a bit of a splurge, but when I do bake, I like using chocolate I really love. I use Ghirardelli, Nestlé and other chocolates too, but Callebaut has my heart. Have you tried any of these? Or do you have a favorite baker or recipe site I need to know about? Tell me! I’m always looking for new recipes to try. 😊
