I’ve been a coffee lover for almost my entire life. When I moved back to Minnesota, I made it my goal to find the best coffee shops the Twin Cities had to offer. These are my favorites based on quality of coffee and experience!
Five Watt is one of my favorite coffee shops around. I love the All Nighter and regularly go out of my way to get it!

Mudslingers is such a cute hole in the wall (or cabin in a parking lot) coffee shop. They’ve got tons of flavor options and fresh pastries too!

Backstory is a gorgeous coffee shop that is a fantastic place to hang out or work. They do get busy during the work week though so plan in advance if you want a seat!

The clapping monkey wins for best location by far! Attached to a gigantic thrift store, Clapping Monkey provides good coffee and entertainment

FRGMNT is another gorgeous coffee shop with ample seating options. The beautiful lobby is a fantastic place to get some work done or meet some friends!

Cafe Astoria has the prettiest coffee in Saint Paul. They have a plethora of designer lattes or regular drip if you don't enjoy decorated drinks. They also have delicious crepes!

Okay while technically not a coffee shop, Hope Breakfast Bar has my favorite latte in the city. The seasalt caramel latte is delicious, not to mention their fantastic food.
