I have a neurodivergent son. We've benefitted from a variety of therapists and medical professionals who've made suggestions on things that we can have in the house to help our little guy.

I am at the mid-life crunch zone of trying to repair the carelessness of my youth, while prepping my body for the remaining years ahead. These things are helping to do that.

For fans old and young - Star Wars Day (May 5) is the BEST! This is a terrific celebration for kids ages 0-100! Decorate, host a cosplay, and come up with food and drinks that are inspired by a galaxy far, far away.

As a mom to 2 tough and tumble boys, the toys that they have (and have stood up to their play) are ones to share! My youngest is also neurodivergent and medically complex…so since the age of 13 months we have been working with various therapists and professionals who have helped to introduce and suggest toys that not only engage him, but helped him make meaningful developmental gains.

I visited Alaska in the summer months a while back. Dream vacation would be to return on a cruise with many land excursions!

We live on a wooded lot with many established trees. My husband has worked hard to cultivate a raised garden and we enjoy our yard year round!

We love drive-able vacations! We are able to see and do a lot things that don't feel like suburban Chicago by just hopping in the car!

I love the eccentric stuff! From a self-stirring spoon, to hand towels that look like hanging cats…there is something weird and whacky for those people who may seem to have everything but probably don't have socks that hold hands!
